German Courses For Children and Teenagers With Experienced Native German Tutors
Studies have shown that learning a foreign language early in life is not only easier for children because their brains absorb the proper pronunciation and grammar of a language with ease, it also enhances their cognitive abilities and sets them off on a path toward a successful career later in life. The German language has been a particularly sought-after skill in our globalised world owing to the strength of Germany's economy. And yet, fewer and fewer students in the UK choose German for their GCSEs and A-levels since German is often taught rather poorly in schools by teachers who are not native speakers. Our German tutors are all German native speakers with at least 10 years of teaching experience. We know how to strike the right balance between making our German courses academically rigorous and fun.
We offer in-person and online German courses and 1:1 German lessons for children and teenagers in London and abroad from the age of 8 to 17. Each of our small German courses for kids and teens is limited to seven students to guarantee that everyone gets to participate. From January 2024, we will also provide German courses and private German lessons for young learners from the age of 4. Contact us if you want to be kept up to date on the details.

A1.1 (Beginner without prior knowledge)

1:1 German tuition for children and teens

Please note that my private tuition is subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. In the event of a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, the full fee will be charged.

Small German Courses
​
In order to guarantee that the classes can run as planned, we ask parents to firmly commit to a block of five dates at a time that correspond with their payment for five classes. Failure to attend the classes on those five dates means that the full classes fee will be charged. One of the classes can be rescheduled free of charge within one calendar month if attendance is cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice. Otherwise, the full fee for that class will be deducted from the advance payment. Unfortunately, deposits are non-refundable.

Once students have signed up for a course, they stay enrolled until they or their parents inform us by email of their wish to withdraw from the course and terminate the contract. Otherwise, their attendance automatically renews in blocks of five classes. The assumption is that students attend all classes unless they inform us otherwise.
