German Language Training and Corporate German Courses in London
Whether your company is already doing business with German-speaking clients or looking to expand into Germany, Austria or Switzerland, research has shown that communicating in English is not nearly as fruitful as speaking to your clients in their native language. And with Brexit looming, the need for German language skills will only increase in the years to come.
Having been educated at RWTH Aachen, LSE and the University of Oxford, I have 20 years of experience tutoring business clients in the German language tailored to their industry- in one-to-one tuition, group lessons and seminar formats. Since I founded Olesen Tuition in 2015, I have build a reputation with helping corporate clients achieve their goals in the German language in a shorter period of time than any of my competitors. My clients include banks, consultancies, IT and law firms, as well as software and technology companies.
Throughout my teaching career I have developed a range of specific techniques and teaching materials that I will tailor to your objectives and your companies’ requirements, for example:
Pitching to German-speaking clients
Face-to-face and telephone conversations with clients in German
Professional letter and email communication
Conventions of business correspondence and meetings
Discussion and negotiation of contracts
As a native German, I also bring to my lessons a wealth of knowledge on the aspects of doing business in German beyond the language itself. This includes the intricacies of appropriate behaviour and forms of address, typical business etiquette and the nuances of professional and formal language. Understanding these cultural conventions will make any German audience all the more receptive to your message.
