Service Description

Taught by an Oxford-educated native German tutor with over 25 years of teaching experience and a track record of 95% grade A* results, this course aims to give students the preparation they need to excel in their A-level German exams. Covering all aspects of the A-level German syllabus, we will revise and practice the most important grammar topics, and improve all four skills- listening, reading, writing and speaking. The course is suitable for both year 12 and year 13 students and caters to all exam boards. Here is a more detailed breakdown of the content of this course: Grammar revision and exercises - the German tenses - German syntax - the four cases - prepositions - adjective declensions - subjunctive mood - passive voice Listening, reading, writing and translation tips Essay writing techniques Analysis of film and book (paper 2) Tips on how to prepare for the IRP and speaking cards, and mock speaking practice.
