September German Classes: Final Places for the 2026/27 Academic Year

The new school year is beginning, and enrolment for our GCSE, A-Level and IB German courses for 2026/27 is now entering its final stage.
Several of our weekly classes are approaching capacity, while availability for private German tuition – particularly during popular after-school and evening times – is becoming increasingly limited.
If you're considering German tuition for the new academic year, now is an excellent time to put the right support in place.
GCSE German classes and private tuition
Our weekly GCSE German classes and private GCSE tuition provide structured support throughout the academic year.
Students develop their grammar and vocabulary while preparing systematically for the listening, reading, writing and speaking components of their GCSE or IGCSE examination.
Our Year 10 GCSE German class now has very limited availability.
Private GCSE German tuition is also available for students who need more individual support, have particular weaknesses to address or are aiming for the highest grades.
Students can also join our intensive German revision courses during the school holidays for focused exam preparation.
A-Level German tuition
Our A-Level German tuition and weekly classes support students in Years 12 and 13 with the considerable demands of the A-Level course.
Lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, translation, speaking and essay writing alongside preparation for set texts and films and the Individual Research Project.
Our Year 13 A-Level German class now has very limited availability for the new academic year.
Students who need additional individual attention can combine a weekly course with one-to-one German exam preparation.
IB German tuition
Students preparing for IB German can join our IB German courses or receive individual IB tuition.
We support both Standard and Higher Level students with language development, grammatical accuracy, written work, speaking and preparation for the requirements of the IB examinations.
Private German lessons with Jens
Private German lessons are available for GCSE, A-Level and IB students who would benefit from individual support tailored to their level and goals.
For students wishing to have lessons directly with Jens, remaining after-school and evening slots are filling quickly.
Private tuition can be taken independently or alongside one of our weekly courses.
An exceptional year of German results
Our students enter the new academic year following another outstanding set of results at Olesen Tuition.
In 2026, 95% of our GCSE German students achieved Grades 8 or 9.
Our A-Level students also achieved excellent A and A* results, including students who secured their places at Oxford and Cambridge, with one student achieving an A* with full marks in the German speaking examination.
We are enormously proud of what our students achieved and are now looking forward to supporting the next group throughout the 2026/27 academic year.
